Check more than price
- Typical evening speed. The ACCC expects providers to show typical busy-period speeds (7pm–11pm); find it in the plan's Critical Information Summary.
- Contract and modem. If you leave early, you may owe the rest of the modem cost.
- Your connection type. Your maximum speed depends on your NBN connection. Check your address with NBN Co.

Questions
Why compare NBN plans over 12 months?
Many plans have a discount for the first few months. Comparing the total over a year shows the real price after the discount ends.
What speed should I look at?
The typical evening (busy-period) speed in the Critical Information Summary, not the maximum tier speed.
Does the calculator know current NBN prices?
No. You type in the prices from each provider. It has no live feed and doesn't send anything you enter.
General information only, not financial advice. The calculator runs in your browser and doesn't store or send what you enter. SavySaver is an independent, anonymous Australian site.
